“And the wine is bottled poetry…”

THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME

From the farmlands of Michoacán, to the vineyards of Napa Valley

The American Dream

Sixty-two years ago, Lupe Maldonado moved to California from Atacheo, a small farming community in Michoacán, Mexico in order to live the American dream. After decades of hard work, their son Hugo and his wife Lidia ascended the ranks of the Napa Valley wine industry and dedicate their time to making some of the most renowned wines in the United States at their hand-made cave in Calistoga. Utilizing the expertise of four generations of winemaking, the family produces stunning examples of the Napa Valley’s most famous varietals.
